Speaker 1:

Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to the AI Cafe Conversations, where today, we are serving up a special blend of insights on some of the leading AI models that are shaping our digital landscape. I am Sahar, your AI whisperer, your host, ready to navigate you through the capabilities, benefits and pitfalls of ChatGPT, cloud, gemini, copilot, meta and perplexity. So grab your coffee and let's dive in into the world of AI. But before we do that, as we always do, I'm going to start sharing some news with you in the AI world, and the biggest one is that open AI CEO, sam Altman and Ariana Huffington announced that they are building a personalized AI health coach. So We'll see what's gonna happen out of that. We'll see what's going to happen out of that. The other big news is that researchers on the Google team mapped the biggest and most detailed AI-assisted reconstruction of human brain tissue to date, and what it does is that it captures each brain cell and neural network in very, very detailed way. They have plans to reconstruct a whole mouse brain. Why should we care about that? Because it pushes the boundaries of current technology and brings us closer to getting valuable insight into the human brain, so we can understand brain functions and diseases better. So I wanna actually say thank you for the publishers of this news, which is the ai to report. I always like to mention where I got my sources. The other big news is that, despite the rumors circulating that apple is going to launch circulating that Apple is going to launch the Siri with chat GPT very soon, actually these plans have been put on the back burner and it's probably the new update. Ai updates to Siri will not arrive till sometime next year, but Apple is still going on with their anticipated apple intelligence features this year, specifically with the release of ios 18 and the new phone 16 series, and what siri will do. It will have features that have ability to control apps, have more complex tasks as editing, sending pictures and maybe suggest next steps for you. The other news we have is that youtube has launched an ai powered eraser tool, basically that can have creators kind of remove or cut out the copyrighted music from their videos without affecting their audio elements, like if they are a voiceover or sound effects. I know in the old days if they have a copyrighted music, they would just mute that part of the video. So now it doesn't do that, it just removes the copyrighted music, which is great for people that are using youtube videos for their branding. Speaking of apple, open, ai updated its chat gpt mac app so it can encrypt the chats, so this way, no one can access your chat convos with chat GPT, which, again, it's really good for security.

Speaker 1:

And now going to a couple of tools that can help you, one of them is EverArt, and it lets you train an AI image generator on any product style or mood board. Again, this is taking from ai to report. Actually, they're having like a great, uh, great newsletter that they do and I need to give credit to them. The other, the other source that I use usually in the news and the new apps that I use, is the neuron. They have a newsletter that is awesome, um, and I just just want to let you know the sources where I get everything. Another app that is there is Voice Isolator and it can remove background noise from any film, podcast or interview or interview. There is Redis, which is read SSS it transforms your Twitter feed into a daily podcast that you can actually listen to. These are kind of three apps that can help you in your daily work. A new tool or app for that automates and enhances LinkedIn content creation is Accento A-C-C-E-N-T-O. If you are building your brand and you want to make sure that you have your Google reviews as testimonials, as online credibility or as social proof, there is a new app called reviewly. It's r e v I e w l? Y. So these are a couple of uh like. I always like to share a few uh apps with you and always remember whatever you enter in the prompt, garbage in, garbage out. So you need to make sure just because you put a prompt in AI doesn't make you an expert. So you need to be aware of what you put on, how you build your prompt, which we call prompt engineering, and how you keep plugging every detail again and that's what we call prompt chaining.

Speaker 1:

Now on with our episode for today, and it's the AI in our AI Cafe conversation and it's basically a taste test of language models sampling six unique ai brews chat, gpt, clode from anthropic gemini, google, copilot, microsoft, meta, of course, meta blend and perplexity. So the ai language models are like different coffee blends Each has its own flavor profile, strength and best use cases. Just as coffees fuels our morning, these AI models power modern technology. So, if we are talking about the flavor profile, just as each coffee blend has its unique flavor profile. Each AI language model has its own flavor or style of processing and generating language. For example, models like GPT from OpenAI are known for their broad conversational abilities that can generate everything from stories to code akin to a well-rounded coffee blend suitable for any time of day. On the other hand, models like birth from google gemini specialize in understanding the context of words in sentences, similar to a finely tuned expresso blend that's perfect for delivering a strong, quick hit of flavor.

Speaker 1:

The strength of potency of these blends, which I call the strength of a coffee blend, can be thought of in terms of its caffeine content and its robust flavor. The same way, ai models vary in strength, defined by their complexity, number of parameters and depth of training. Some models are stronger than others, designed to handle more complex tasks or generate more nuanced text, such as a dark roast might have a profound, intense flavor suited for an experienced palate. Each coffee blend is suited to different occasions. A light, mild blend may be perfect for afternoon sipping, whereas a strong dark roast might be the go-to for an early morning wake up like me. Similarly, different AI models excel in various applications. For instance, a model like T5 is excellent for tasks that involve transforming one form of text into another, like translation, much like a versatile medium boost that pairs well with or without milk. I'm allergic to milk, so without milk. For me, models designed for specific tasks such as legal or technical document review might be likened to a special blend crafted for a particular flavor profile or brewing method.

Speaker 1:

So let's start with Chad GPT, or I call it the house blend, with chat GPT, or I want I call it the house plan. Chat GPT is widespread popularity and integration into various platforms. It's the go-to choice for many customers. It's a very loud, well-rounded flavor that suits most states known for its, like I said, conversational prowessGPT is like your friendly barista who knows just how to keep the chat going. It's great for generating human-like text and can be a handy tool for everything from composing emails to scripting podcasts emails to scripting podcasts.

Speaker 1:

However, its tendency to produce convincing but occasionally incorrect or biased information serves as a reminder to double-check your facts. Sometimes the beans might be a bit stale between quotes outdated information. It pairs well with almost any task you are working on. They have a free version of it and they have a paid version for it, which is the chat 4.0. The difference between them is the number of tokens as well as the paid version, will give you more in-depth information as well as it can create pictures and it has part that can be a negotiator or a legal advisor, and it costs $20 a month. A lot of people do it, you know, with uh, with the free one, because they feel this is what they need from it, so you can do it for free. That will give you a limited number of tokens or amount of usage versus the paid version.

Speaker 1:

The second one that I want to talk about that I'm really falling in love with these days is Cloud. Cloud is the ethically sourced expresso. It focuses, and Cloud is C-L-A-U-D, as in David focuses on safety and ethics. It's designed to be more guarded and precise, potentially making it a better choice for professional settings where accuracy is crucial. Think of Claude as the meticulous cafe manager who ensures every cup of coffee meets the standard before it reaches the customer. It's a strong focus brew with a smooth finish.

Speaker 1:

It's known for its transparency about ingredients or about what we call AI limitations. It's great for those who appreciate knowing exactly what's in their cup. Might be too intense for casual sippers. It's perfect when you need a clear analytical boost that you want to have. It creates a simple visualization showing what you need to do. So, for example, one of the prompts that you can use is that you can ask on cloud to create a simple visualization showing you a supply chain management process, or create a simple visualization showing you a sales funnel process, so it can create basically an, if almost an infographic or a diagram for you that makes it very clear in front of your eyes of what you can do.

Speaker 1:

Claude has been especially the new one, sony 3.5. Actually, um is looked at as in first place and it posts chat, gpt, uh down, and the thing is like with um claude. I believe it's my personal opinion that it gets a lot deeper and it really gets what you, what you, ask for it. I usually use two or three of these platforms and that's why I thought to share the differences between them today and then kind of combine them or take the best one. The next platform that we're going to talk about is gemini. Gemini is google, the multi-modal mocha, multi-modal capabilities. Um, this ai tool is still shrouded in some mystery and it has been known to have some hallucinations and a lot of bias. Okay, I don't know if it's a lot of bias, but just bias. So I don't want to be like dramatic here, but it has bias. But it started for its integration capabilities with other software.

Speaker 1:

Jim and I could be likened to the espresso machine that not only brews coffee but also automates ordering, inventory management, streamlining the cafe operations. It's a rich blend of flavors, handles, text, images and more. Even on the the free one, it can create pictures on the free version. Still new on the menu but quickly gaining popularity. Great when you need a diverse range of input in your work. Might be overwhelming for those who prefer simple moves.

Speaker 1:

The next platform is Copilot, microsoft. We call it the coders. Cold brew specialization in coding assistant. Get hubs AI that helps coders by suggesting lines of code or entire functions. It's like having a knowledgeable assistant who sometimes whispers just the right ingredients to add to your coffee to make it perfect. But be aware Copilot can sometimes suggest outdated or inappropriate code, much like occasionally getting a coffee tip that doesn't quite suit your taste. It's especially crafted for the late night coding crowd, helps programmers stay productive and caffeinated Not for everyone. It requires a taste for technical tasks and is the perfect accompaniment for long coding session.

Speaker 1:

Moving to the next one, meta. Obviously, facebook, instagram, whatsapp, meta is the parent company and we call it the open source organic plan. It has an open source approach with Lama Meta's AI. Initiatives are vast, but focusing on their conversational ability. These tools are built to enhance your social media experience presence, tailoring content and advertisement based on user interaction. So great to help you do your ads on Instagram and on Facebook. Think of Meta as the cafe that remembers your favorite seasonal drinks and suggests them just when you are likely to crave them. It's a customizable brew Bring your own cup and adjust to taste. Popular among the DIY crowd who like to tinker with their coffee Requires some expertise to get the best flavor. And great for those who want to understand every step of the brewing process every step of the brewing process.

Speaker 1:

The next platform is Perplexity. I call it the fresh press. It focus on the real time information and search integrations. It aims to make information, search and retrieval more conversational and intuitive. It's like having a barista who not only serves your coffee but also provides answers to your questions about the origin of the beans, the brewing process and even advice on brewing coffee at home, always brewed with the latest beans, comes with a side of sources. No worry info is coming from. I love it when I'm doing a research because it will give me resources and sources and links to articles and sources that I can. It can actually basically credentials. If I'm trying to do a blog or an article, it gives me some credentials on how I can go and research it in a better way. It's perfect for those who need the most up-to-date information. Might be too intense for those who prefer a more relaxed sipping experience, but the last week it has been accused of having perplexity hallucinations, so they are working on that to bring it aligned back to better performance working on that to bring it aligned back to better performance.

Speaker 1:

So each of these AI tools has strengths and weaknesses. Some are better at understanding context, while others excel at delivering precise information. Perplexity, for example, doesn't do images, but Copilot does actually choose DALI that is the tool for the paid chat GPT to do pictures. So we choosing the right platform depends on your needs and I suggest that you try them all and play with it, whether you're looking for a creative partner or a coding assistant or a reliable fact checker, so which ai will help you with different tasks.

Speaker 1:

If you want general tasks, start with the chat. Gpt house blend. Need precision. Try a shot of cloud expresso working with various media. Gemini mocha is your best bet. Coding project. Copilot cold brew will keep you going.

Speaker 1:

Want to experiment? Meta's organic blend is very customizable. Need the latest info? Perplexity fresh press is always current. The good in this platforms is that these AI brews are making a revolution in productivity.

Speaker 1:

The bad of it is too much caffeine, I mean AI might keep you up at night. The bitter some flavors might not sit well with everyone. Specifically, when it comes to ethical concerns and job placement, the future of that is that we have to wait and see. No one on this earth today can tell you or predict who is gonna be the best for the future ai, how it's gonna work, what would be the ethics around it, you know, but, um, we need to all be, uh, very aware and do our due diligence for ethics when we use AI.

Speaker 1:

So, this coffee-themed structure that we shared I wanted to make sure that I share it because I had been having my clients would always ask me one should I use. Should I use this or should I use that? Actually, I tried all of them and, depending on what I want, which one is stronger. Um, this is what I use, and I compare and sometimes I even combine both of them. We have these tools, so why, uh, not use it? Choosing the right one depends on your needs whether you're looking like of whatever you need in whatever productivity that you have. Folks, that's all for today. Guides through the complex world of AI models. Remember, the best AI for you depends on what you need from your digital assistant. Thank you for joining me at AI Cafe Conversations. Don't forget to subscribe and share your experiences with these AI tools. Until next time, keep your coffee hot and your curiosity about AI even harder. This is your host, sahar, your AI whisperer. Till we meet next time. Bye for now.
