Speaker 1:

Welcome back to your favorite corner where coffee meets curiosity, ai Cafe Conversations, conversations. I'm your host, sahar, your AI whisperer, ready yet again to steer through some of the richest and most complex flavors of our digital era. Today we are visiting, delving in a topic that is important for us to know. Again, that is a non-techie, because I'm non-techie, but before we do that, I would like to share with you the newest trends that happened this week. As I always do, I've been following this format. I have been asked to do that from a lot of listeners that emailed me, so I would like to share whatever happened this week, the trends, and this way we can know really what's going on around us in the ei world. The first big news is that chat gpt is launching a new project called project strawberry, and project strawberry actually will. Strawberry actually will crawl the internet and will do deep, deep research independently. So it will do it on its own, without being asked to do it to solve complex problems. Because it will do deep research, that means it will do fewer mistakes, or what we call AI hallucinations, because it's training itself. Why we should care about that? Because it's self-taught it improves itself by learning from its own reasoning that means that it can get of what we are scared of, or a lot of people are skeptical about AI that it could reach better than human intelligence over time, and this is what people basically are really scared of. Few of Chad GPT employees have complained to SEC about the NDA non-disclosure agreement that they cannot have, like whistleblowers, if they see something they don't like. And, according to their perception, allegedly they saw that Chad GPT is releasing versions without testing them properly for safety and they were concerned about that. Chad GPT responded by saying we understand, we welcome any critique on us. We understand their concern. Chatgpt 4.0 was released really quick, but we made sure that all the safety concerns were addressed before we launched ChatGPT 4.0.

Speaker 1:

Some of the newest news also is that google uh pulled their ai summaries, uh, when you do a search query. And what it? Why it did that? Because it gave we call ai hallucinations it could give either wrong or even dangerous information, uh. So it reduced its visibility, uh. And now Google is also citing Reddit and Quora less because they believe that they have unreliable information and maybe sometimes a form of humor or satire that AI still cannot comprehend and might translate on a wrong way comprehend and might translate on a wrong way. In other news, google will soon release a tool that will create video recordings inside a presentation. So when you drop in a Google slide or even documents and I need to give credit here, where I get my news from AI every morning, I get it through AI to report and through the neuron as well. I usually put a link to the neuron and to the AI to report in the description of every episode and I really thank them because they keep me updated with everything daily.

Youtube is taking pages from Spotify and Shazam book. They are creating new features. One of them is to allow us, as a customer, to create specific custom-made radio stations by describing what they want to hear or what category of music they want to follow. The other thing also doing it like Spotify and Amazon Music and even Pandora, if you want to call it. The other thing is they also have a feature that will recognize a song if a user or a customer like myself find a song, by either singing, humming or playing parts of it, basically copying Shazam in that, if you watch some ads or commercials on TV, you would have seen a commercial between meta and Ray-Ban glasses. So meta, virtual or AR glasses, are a cutting edge technology that combines augmented reality with smart glasses. It has been obviously developed by Meta. They're trying their best to get into the race. This innovative solution enables users to view digital information and interact with virtual objects in the real world environment. When I saw the commercial, I thought I was in the transformer era, or I'll be back era. The glasses feature see-through displays, advanced computer vision and machine learning algorithms to create a seamless AR experience. Potential applications include gaming, education and various industries like healthcare, manufacturing, and, with meta AR glasses, users can expect to enhance their daily lives with intuitive, hands-free interaction with virtual information. I feel like we're going back into the era of six million dollar man or bionic woman or whatever, but it's actually our reality today.

Speaker 1:

And amazon, of course, is into the race of ai. So, uh, they had a chatbot that was called rufus. Uh, that we started hearing about last february. It's finally here and it can answer questions like is this coffee maker easy to clean or can you compare between these products? Can you find me the best price? It's really. It will have a lot of function, but I'm going to leave it up to you to see if it's going to work for you or not, but it can actually be very helpful and it will increase the easeability, if you want to call it, of using Amazon. They are just put. Bezos keeps putting money into AI, specifically into Perplexity and now into Rufus. That could be like a better customer service agent into Rufus. That could be like a better customer service agent. The other thing is that ChatGPT is getting into the manufacturing or maybe doing robots. We don't have a lot of information about it yet, but I will keep you informed.

Speaker 1:

Some of the tools that I want to share with you today is a couple of tools that I will tell you about. One of them is AI image extender and it stretches any photo beyond its borders, using AI to expand backgrounds and adjust aspect ratios. The other thing that I just used and I found like it's really, really helpful, especially if you use linkedin um. It's tapio t-a-p-l-i-o um it is. It give you a free trial for seven days and after that you have to pay. It's not that expensive. Uh, it's also a chrome extension, but it creates linkedin posts for you and I tried it and it actually gave me a lot of engagement and likes and comments. You can basically ask it how you build your post or what it can even create ideas for you to do posts. So try it. Tap leo um as a chrome extension. Uh, always remember prompt engineering, prompt chaining garbage in, garbage out.

Speaker 1:

So now let me start on our episode today. As you know, I am your barista of bytes and today we are brewing a special blend of efficiency and adaptability for small businesses. Grab your favorite mug and let's dive in. Grab your favorite mug and let's dive in. First, let's talk about brewing efficiency. Ai for small business operations. Imagine running a bustling cafe. You need to keep track of your coffee beans schedule. Baristas balance the books and make sure everything runs smoothly. Now let's see how AI can help make this process as smooth as well-pulled espresso shot. Let's start with inventory management. In a cafe, you need to know how much coffee, milk and pastries you have at all times. Ai can be like super observant assistant, constantly tracking your stock levels. It can predict when you will run out of items, based on historical data, and even place order automatically. For a small business, this could mean using AI powered inventory management software that integrates with your point-of-sale system. That's part of it. Next part Next, let's look at scheduling.

Speaker 1:

Just as a cafe manager needs to ensure there are enough baristas for the morning rush. Ai can optimize employee schedules. It can analyze baristas for the morning rush. Ai can optimize employee schedules. It can analyze patterns in customer traffic, consider employee preferences and availability and create efficient schedules that maximize productivity while minimizing costs. There are AI power scheduling tools that can do this for any small business, not just cafes.

Speaker 1:

Now let's talk about the beans. I mean the numbers. Ai is like a tireless accountant, crunching numbers faster than you can say double espresso. It can automate bookkeeping tasks, categorize expenses and even flag potential issues or discrepancies. Me in using AI enhanced accounting software that learns from your financial patterns and provides insights to help you make better financial decisions.

Speaker 1:

Finally, workflow optimization. In a well-run cafe, every step from order to delivery is choreographed perfectly. To delivery is choreographed perfectly. Ai can help small businesses achieve this level of efficiency by analyzing processes, identifying bottlenecks and suggesting improvements. This could be as simple as using AI-powered project management tools that learn from your team's work patterns and suggest more efficient ways to allocate tasks.

Speaker 1:

Now let's shift gears and talk about seasonal specials, adapting your business with AI insights. Just as a cafe might introduce pumpkin spice lattes in the fall, introduced pumpkin spice lattes in the fall. Businesses need to adapt to changing market trends and seasons. Ai can be your trend spotting, future predicting assistant. So let's look at AI powered market analysis.

Speaker 1:

Imagine an AI system that can scan social media, news articles and online searches to identify emerging trends in your industry. And you might say how can I do that? Enter a prompt into whatever platform you use for ai. First of all, the first part of a prompt engineering is to assign a role for it. So I would start as my market analysis consultant share with me the top 10 trends that exist in the market today in and you enter whatever industry you are in. And then you can continue by saying what pain points is my audience suffering from and how can I present my product or services as a solution. This is a good prompt engineer to do it. So, for example, for a cafe, this might spot the next big thing in cafe flavors. For any small business, it could help you stay ahead of the curve and offer products or services your customers will love before they even know they want them.

Speaker 1:

The next trend is prediction. Ai algorithms can analyze historical data and current trends to forecast future demand. This is new because when we started. Even with ChatGPT 3.5, it could not predict the future. It could not connect data, it didn't have any contacts. So, in our cafe analogy, this could predict how many iced cafes you will see next summer. For other businesses, it could help you prepare for seasonal fluctuations in demand, ensuring you are never caught off guard.

Speaker 1:

Lastly, let's talk about dynamic pricing strategies, and I know a lot of the small business owners that I coach or I deal with have the have an issue about how to price their services or their products. So, just as a cafe might offer happy hour discounts during slow periods, ai can help businesses optimize their pricing in real time based on demand, competition and other factors. This could mean automatically adjusting your prices during peak times or offering personalized discounts to boost sales during slower periods. To wrap up what I'm talking about small businesses here, remember that these tools are meant to enhance your business acumen, not replace them. It's a tool, it's not a strategy. They are like high-tech coffee machines powerful tools that still need a skilled operator to produce the best results.

Speaker 1:

One of the things that you can also do on using AI whatever you use, you can use like. If you go back to my last podcast, I discussed six different platforms of AI ChatGPT, perplexity, meta Copilot, gemini, cloud and I'm in love with Cloud these days, so it just I love it, and so you can go, and not only if you want to enhance your brand online, and it's all about online presence. It has been said that SEO search engine optimization is going to turn within a year to AEO, which is artificial intelligence, engine optimization. So you need a lot of presence now. So one of the ways that you can do increase your presence online is to write blogs that have keywords, especially if you get all the trends from AI that are happening.

Speaker 1:

And you might ask how can I know my keywords? You can go into any platform again. First assign a role as my branding consultant and SEO specialist I am and then say who you are, what your business is in fine, fine details, my audience is, and you enter all the information about your audience and I would ask AI to give me 20 primary keywords and 20 secondary keywords. And then you ask in the same prop and show me where to place them for best usage and online presence, to optimize my SEO presence, and you'll be amazed. It will give you 20 and 20 and it will tell you exactly where to place them on your website.

Speaker 1:

The other thing is, even if you're not a techie again, I'm not a techie, but it has been helping me a lot for seo the other way that you can enhance your online presence is take these trends one by one and go back to your artificial intelligence platform again a role as my content creator and social media consultant create a blog about this trend and you take the first issue and then you say this is my audience, this is what I am, this is my expertise. And then I would ask the blog to be 600, 900, 1200 words. Make it simple that a high schooler will understand it. Make it engaging. Use keywords, use three hashtags at the end. Make the blog valid for my website and linkedin and offer it. Offer my services as a solution without being a direct sale. And I always say this start my blog with the hook and end it with a call to action. You'll be surprised. You can ask it to write two or three blogs about that. I also ask it to use the pin point of my audience, and that's why you have to do the research of your audience.

Speaker 1:

If you have any questions about how to use AI, you can either leave me a message here on the podcast or you can email me at sahar S-A-H-A-R at saharconsultingcom. Sahar S-A-H-A-R at saharconsultingcom. So, as we close today, I encourage you to explore how these AI tools that I shared with you might fit your business. Could they help you operate more efficiently, adapt more quickly to changes or maybe even predict the next big trend in your industry? That's all for today. You people. Ai conversation for today. Thanks for joining me for this double shot of AI insights. Until next time, keep your mind caffeinated and your business automated. This was Sahar, your AI whisperer. Till we meet next time.
