#FutureOfAI #digitaltransformation @AIWhisperer
Hello, hello, hello. This is your host, sahar. I am your AI whisperer. So how have you been?
Speaker 1:Dear listeners and dear postcasters here, welcome to the 25th and final episode of season one of IAI Cafe Conversations. I can't believe we have reached this incredible milestone together. I just remember my first episode and how nervous I was to start it. I wasn't sure if I can sustain it. And one after the other, and now I'm in the 25th. They call that the silver anniversary. I guess, surprise, surprise, next year, 2025, is my wedding silver anniversary. 25 years, not 25 episodes. So, uh, it has been an amazing, amazing journey and today we are making it as memorable as possible. But before we do that, as usual, I want to share with you the newest news that are happening with AI in general. And, if you remember, in the last couple of or three last podcasts I had been talking about sb1047, which is a california ai safety bill that was on governor newsom desk and he had to september 30th to approve it or not.
Speaker 1:He actually vetoed it. He said that he does not believe that, though it's well intended, it was too broad, so he actually vetoed it. It's designed. It wanted, at the surface, safety for AI companies, but it was opposed by many powerful players in Silicon Valley, including, believe it or not, house Speaker Nancy Pelosi, openai and the Chamber of Progress, who all felt it would actually prevent the innovation. Governor Newsom said it focused too much on the biggest AI model, saying that smaller, specialized models may emerge equally as dangerous than the models targeted by SB1047. The bill senator, scott weiner, said that this decision was a setback for everyone who believes in oversight of massive corporations that are making critical decisions affecting public safety and welfare. So here you have it it has been shut down. I had a feeling it was going to be shut down because it's uh, I see both side of it. Maybe because I'm a libra, so I see both sides of it. Maybe because I'm a Libra, so I see both sides, but I still believe in the progression and the growth of AI because this is the only way to do it. Yes, we have to be careful, we have to look for our safety, but this looked to me like a very special, interest-created bill, so we'll see what's going to happen. So I promise I'm going to bring you the results and I do it. So today it's just like we are October 2nd, so that happened two days ago. It actually happened on the 30th. On Monday In other news, the UK was worried about the Amazon Anthropic AI partnership, but it has actually been cleared.
Speaker 1:Amazon invested Jeff Bezos invested $4 billion in Anthropic, specifically in Cloud. That is a Chad GPT equivalent. I personally really like it a lot. So your Alexa from now on is going to be more or less governed or operated by cloud, not its own in-house, but they might start charging money or membership fees for that. What else? The other important news is that Chad GPT, or OpenAI, is planning to raise the price of the individual GPT Chad GPT from 20 to 22 by the end of the year, and they are expecting by 2029 it's going to jump to $44 because OpenAI wants to reduce its losses and appeal more to its investors. The thing, the problem is that there is a concern that this rapid price increase could trigger a huge backlash from the 10 million Chad GPT customers. Everybody thinks already that $20 per month is too much. It reminds me of when Netflix all of a sudden increased the prices and they lost a lot of customers because of that.
Speaker 1:In other news, if we are talking about Google, gmail has a new development where they say it got smarter. It has something called Smart Reply. It will provide response suggestions so you don't have to manually type a reply. The new feature, also called Contextual Smart Replies, it takes the entire thread of the email into account when providing responses.
Speaker 1:I have been kind of skeptical, honestly, about Gemini and Google. I love Gemini, I'm sorry. I love Chrome, don't get me wrong. I love Google and I use it like every single day. But when it comes to AI, I am a little bit skeptical about it. It has had a lot of biases, a lot of mistakes, and they release it and then they pull it. And then they release it and then they pull it. So I'm taking it with a grain of salt and I'm not applying everything right away. I just wait to see what's going on. Um. The other thing is um, this is available. Whatever I told you about, which is the smart reply and the contextual smart replies, um, are now offered only in English to Google Workspace and Google One AI premium users. What else I want to share with you today? Let me see. In other news, microsoft will relaunch its Recall screenshot tool with improved privacy features, making it opt-in, only, easy to uninstall if you feel like it and available on your copilot plus computers in November. Other news AI bots can now pass CAPTCHA with a hundred Captures with 100% success Wow.
Speaker 1:The other big news for OpenAI is that three top executives there is a shaking of top leadership in OpenAI because OpenAI has shed its non-profit status and it becomes a for-profit company. That's probably why they are looking at increasing the memberships. So Sam Altman, the president, said that leadership changes are a natural part of companies, especially companies that grow so quickly and are so demanding. So we don't know what's going to happen by that. I mean, it was great in the beginning as a nonprofit, but now, like I said, it's becoming a for-profit. Openai is about to get an injection of $6.5 billion in a record-setting funding round. For better or for worse, we'll see a lot of high-profile resignation to slow down its momentum. So we'll see AI is moving fast and we're going to see a lot of stuff that we didn't think are going to happen.
Speaker 1:I'll keep you posted as much as I can on that stuff.
Speaker 1:What else I want to share with you? I want to share maybe a couple of tools with you. One of them is SQL and it gets instant insights and visuals by simply asking questions about your data, a prompt that you can use on, and I love it on. You know how you can customize your chat GPT through your settings, so this way you don't have to repeat yourself all the time. What you can do also is that you can go for it on chat and I'm speaking specifically on chat GPT either the free or the paid version. Of course it's better on the paid version, but on the free one you can enter hi, my name is so-and-so, this is the name of my company.
Speaker 1:Go in details about what the company does in fine boring details, what it does and then enter who your target market is, again in boring details. If you have to work these details before you do that, do that right and enter where you're going locally and what are you targeting, say what are the pinpoints of the clients that you're going after, and then ask ChatGPT to remember. You Ask it, chatgpt, I want you from now on to remember who I am. Can you do that? And you ask, can you do that and see the response it's going to give you and from now on you can just go back to that and it will remember. You don't have to reenter any of that over and over again. I found this actually very productive and it saved me a lot of time. For me, and now, whatever I ask it, it remembers exactly who I am. This is what I wanted to share.
Speaker 1:Now I want to go to the core of our episode today. Again, it's the 25th episode. I can't believe this. So grab your favorite cup of coffee. Make it a special one today, okay, and settle in. It's a very special day for me. Make it a special one today, okay, and settle in. It's a very special day for me.
Speaker 1:We are brewing up an extra special blend of insights, reflections and practical tips that will not only resonate with you, but also empower you to enhance your business and personal life using AI, all without the tech jargon. This is a journey worth savoring and along the journey, I have been giving you all this news using a lot of the neuron and AI tool reports. I give them a shout out. First off, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every single one of you, whether you have been with us since that very first sip or joined us somewhere along the way. Your support and enthusiasm have been the fuel for this podcast and very dear to my heart. Together, we have demystified AI, making it as approachable and enjoyable as a cup of your favorite coffee.
Speaker 1:Remember when we compared AI to that mysterious new coffee blend at the cafe intriguing but a bit intimidating. Well, over these 25 episodes, we have tasted and tested, explored and explained bringing AI into the realm of everyday conversation. We have discussed how AI is transforming industries from healthcare to entertainment, and how it's creeping into our daily lives in the form of smart assistance, personalized recommendations and a lot more. And we have done it all without getting too technical, focusing instead on practical applications and insights. As I said from the beginning, I'm not a techie and I promised you it's not going to be technical jargon in my podcast. So how are we making AI work for us? Today's episode is not just a trip down memory lane. I want to leave you with something tangible, practical ways you can harness the power of AI to improve your business or personal life.
Speaker 1:One AI in personal life. Let's start with how AI can make your personal life smoother and more enjoyable. First one you can use it as a smart personal assistance. Devices like Alexa or Google Home can help manage your schedule, set reminders and even control home appliances with some voice and simple voice commands. Two personalized content Streaming services use AI to recommend movies, shows or music you might like, saving you time and introducing you to new favorites. Three health and wellness apps AI-powered apps can track your fitness, suggest workouts or even provide meditation sessions tailored to your needs.
Speaker 1:Now let's talk about AI in business. Let's talk about leveraging AI to give you your business a boost. 1. Customer Service Chatbots these can handle basic customer inquiries 24x7, improving customer satisfaction and freeing up your time. 2. Email Marketing Automation AI can analyze customer behavior to send personalized email, increasing engagement and sales. Three inventory management AI systems can predict stock needs based on past trends, preventing overstocking or stock outs. Now I want to share with you real-life success stories. To illustrate, here are some stories of individuals who embraced AI without being tech experts, and I'm proud to say they are some of my clients. Sophia's online boutique. Sophia integrated an AI chatbot into her website. It answered customer questions, guided them through the purchase process and even suggested products. Her sales increased by 30% in just three few months. Mark Mark's fitness journey. Mark used an AI-driven fitness app that adjusted his workout plans based on his progress and feedback. He achieved his health goals faster and with more enjoyment than he ever thought possible.
Speaker 1:Simple steps to get started with AI. You might be thinking this sounds great, but where do I start? I'm not a techie. Hey, remember, I'm not a techie either. So here is a simple roadmap, one step one identify areas for improvement. Look at your daily routines or business processes. Is there a task that is repetitive or time consuming? That's a good place to consider an AI solution.
Speaker 1:Step two research user-friendly AI tools. There are plenty of AI powered tools designed for non-techies. For personal use, apps like Todoist or Todoist T-O-D-O-I-S-T use AI to prioritize your tasks. Grammarly or Quillbolt helps improve your writing in real time. For business use, platforms like Hootsuite employ AI to optimize social media posts. Quickbooks uses AI for smarter accounting.
Speaker 1:And on a personal level, you can open your camera, go through your pantry and your fridge and ask AI to put a dinner menu for you based on what you have available, and then you can ask it to give you individual recipes, step by step. This is how beautiful it is. You can also ask it to give you a regimen or a diet for three weeks that is keto or dirty keto or low carb, or how can you go into ketosis, and it can give it to you and you can ask it for recipes as well. You can also ask it. I have a busy schedule, but I need to work out 20 minutes to get the best results in the next two months. I want to lose so many pounds in the next 60 days. I have 20 minutes three times a week. I am that tall. I weigh that much. This is how old I am female or male. How can I achieve it? Step by step.
Speaker 1:The next thing that we need to look for, after identifying areas of improvement and research, user-friendly AI tools. Step three is start small. Begin with one tool or application. Get comfortable with it before expanding to others. This prevents overwhelm and allows you to see tangible benefits quickly. Step four engage with communities. Join forums or groups where people share their experiences with AI tools. Websites like Reddit or LinkedIn groups can be valuable resources. Looking forward to the future by the way, I'm not an affiliate with any of that. So to make it clear, world to the future by the way, I'm not an affiliate with any of that. So to make it clear, as we stand at the cusp of this new era, remember that AI is not about replacing humans, but enhancing our capabilities. It's like having that perfect coffee companion who knows just how you like your brew and anticipates your needs.
Speaker 1:Exciting announcement coming up. I'm thrilled to announce that in season two we will be introducing some guest speakers or experts or enthusiasts like yourself, who will share their unique perspectives on AI in various fields. We will also have interactive sessions where you can send in your question and we'll explore them together. So start emailing me your questions at sahar S as in Sam A-H-A-R at saharconsultingcom. Speaker 1:Ai is a tool, a powerful one, that's becoming increasingly accessible. Whether it's enhancing your personal life or giving your business that competitive edge, the possibilities are vast. Always remember garbage in, garbage out. Remember you don't need to be a techie to benefit from AI. You just need a willingness to explore and the courage to take that first step.
